For the 12th year in a row, U.S. News & World Report ranks UCHealth University of Colorado as Colorado’s No. 1 hospital.

For the 12th year in a row, U.S. News and World Report ranks UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital located on the Anschutz Medical Campus, as the No. 1 hospital in the state of Colorado.Two more UCHealth hospitals are ranked in the state’s top five including Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland (No. 2) and Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs (No. 4).

“This recognition for our hospitals is a testament to the hard work of UCHealth’s dedicated staff and providers who go above and beyond every day to ensure our patients receive the best care,” said Elizabeth B. Concordia, UCHealth president and CEO. “Quality, safety and an unmatched clinical experience are always UCHealth’s top priorities.”

U.S. News ranks University of Colorado Hospital among the nation’s best in lung and respiratory care, a ranking UCH shares with partner National Jewish Health, and high performing in specialties including cancer, geriatrics, neurology, orthopedics and urology.

“As Colorado’s only adult academic medical center, University of Colorado Hospital is honored by these designations,” said Tom Gronow, president and CEO of University of Colorado Hospital. “Our staff and providers work hard to ensure our patients receive outstanding medical care along with access to the latest research and innovative treatments through our partnership with the renowned experts at the CU Anschutz Medical Campus.”

In addition to the U.S. News rankings, University of Colorado Hospital was recently recognized with a 5-star rating for quality from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), its highest honor. The Lown Institute also recognized UCHealth as one of the country’s top performing health care systems in social responsibility, value and patient outcomes.
