The 2023 list lands Anderson Hospital in the top 5% of hospitals in the United States and marks the second year in a row to be recognized.
Newsweek is a premier news magazine and website that has been bringing high-quality journalism to readers around the globe for more than 80 years. This prestigious award is presented by Newsweek and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry-ranking provider. Newsweek and Statista developed a complex methodology to ensure the quality and validity of the ranking. Three data sources were used for the evaluation, including hospital recommendations from peers, patient experience and medical key performance indicators (patient safety, hygiene measures and quality of treatment).
“It’s an honor to be nationally recognized,” said Keith Page, Anderson Hospital President and CEO. “We are incredibly proud of our staff for playing a pivotal role in this accomplishment.”
